Summer brings nice weather, tanning oil, and weekend trips to the beach. However, sometimes it isn’t always possible for weekend getaways, so sometimes, we need to find a way to bring the essence of the sea to our homes! Fear not, for nautical interior design is the perfect way to make us feel like the ocean is always near. With elements such as ships, anchors, sea creatures, and the oh-so-popular nautical colors of navy and white, you can relax in the comfort of your own home, while imagining warm grains of sand running through your toes and the sound of crashing waves in the distance.
This is from our very own firm, but it is fabulous! I love the rich blue wall paint paired with the crisp white custom built in book case paired with coral colored accents.
Spaces & Decor Ideas That Will Make You Want Beach Themed Elements In Your Home Year-round
This could be one of my favorite beach inspired rooms I've ever seen. I love the vibrant blue walls with pops of white...and I cannot get enough of the photo in the center of the perfectly styled bookcase! What a great way to personalize your space with a blurred out photo of you and your family having a blast at the beach.
I like that this space used gray wood paneled walls and little elements that bring the beach home, like the fabulous sail boat, tiny photo of the beach, glass vase with a dead branch that could have easily been picked up along a morning beach walk. And of course, the tiny splashes of blue and white in the pillow and framed on the right wall.
I love the way they styled the coral to look like flowers in a vase, talk about interior decor inspired by the sea!
The wood furniture makes this room feel like a room in a rustic beach cottage.
Decor That Are Fantastic For Beach Themed Interior Spaces
I can't get enough of air plants - they are so easy to manage and they look so cool when they're displayed like this! The air plants might even be even "beachier" to display in glass float.
Those pillow patterns really caught my eye, because they bold and add another dimension to this room.
This could be a fun DIY project that will bring a little nautical interior design into your home in a subtle way!
