The young family owners of this 2014 Street of Dreams home requested to work with GHID to ensure that their dream home lived up to their expectations. One of the major priorities for this home was to make sure that their home was to prepare for the option of multi-generational living, or aging in place. Aside from having all of the main living spaces on the first floor, this home features two master suite bedrooms which provide the homeowners the option of transferring their; one of which is specifically designed with grab bars, the capability to turn a wheelchair around in the bathroom, and custom built-in cabinets that easily can be removed so that a wheel chair can roll up to the vanity. We implemented a design with our client’s lifestyle and tastes at the forefront of our minds and struck the perfect harmony of contemporary (his) and traditional (her) interiors. Through careful selections of finishes, materials, furniture and home decor, we created a practical space that this family would be proud to call home, and would also welcome friends and family for years to come.
